We are collaborating with MGH’s RADx Infectious Diseases<\/a> team for mobile response testing. Based on wastewater viral concentration trends, a mobile testing van from MGH’s RADx team chooses a location in the spiking area for targeted community surveillance testing every week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our health promoters (promoteres) work with the MGH team in the selected place to encourage more people to test for COVID-19. The test administered is an individual PCR test, free of charge and irrespective of symptomatic status. The MGH team promptly communicates the result of a test individually via a phone call. Positive cases trigger Chelsea city’s pandemic response chain of contact tracing and other infected individuals’ support services.\u00a0
